No payment on accounts

In August I talk to Discovery and they promise that the account will be settled. My husband had an major surgery on his right foot, in February after several months and ongoing to the doctor, he sent us to the nurse who is doing the dressings because the feet didn't heel and got infected, the nurse took fotos every time and sent it to Discovery, this was of the surgery and there was a hole in his right foot. Now I receive a phone call that there is still account outstanding that was not settle.
