I recently had 2 major surgeries to both my arms and obviously as a sub-sequence I cannot go to the gym for a while. I started getting mails from Discovery that if I don't go the gym I will loose my Vitality Discount. I called them and explained my situation and that I'm not going to the gym because of my surgery and not because i intend to become lazy and unhealthy but will return as soon as I'm better, low and behold I get told by Discovery HEALTH that there is no exceptions and that I would loose my discount for missing a few months!!! surely this is crazy practice as a company who promotes a healthy living lifestyle expects people to GYM straight after surgery, is that not unhealthy Discovery. I threatened to close my platinum accounts with them and cancel life policies to which I was told OH WELL. Thanks Discovery for your UNHEALTHY Attitude and for being there for me when I was recovering, I guess Discovery only likes you when you are fit and well and as soon as anything happens they chase you away. they very good at flight discounts but at people benefits. BYE BYE DISCOVERY
