I applied for authorisation for a CPAP machine for Sleep Apnea in December 2012 Momentum authorised the claim from my 2012 benefits in January 2013. I made a query about the authorisation and waited almost two months for a response from them, they then reconfirmed the original authorisation number for 2012 in mid March and I ordered my cpap machine shortly after this. They are refusing to honour the claim against my 2012 benefits even though the delays were as a result of their poor customer service. I have spoken to Brian David one of their managers, while he has been pleasant to deal with he has been unable to assist me with my refund of around R4000-00. I feel I have acted in good faith and feel that Momentum health is not acting honourably by failing to honour their authorisation.
