Late last year I bought my son an S3, which he loved. It was on contract with Vodacom. A few months ago he plugged it in, and it literally went up in smoke. The charging port and surrounds was burnt. He took the phone to the Woodmead branch of Vodacom, who claimed after 5 days this was not covered by warranty. They blamed the charger. Now I see that a very similar thing has happened to an S4. Please could this be investigated. We still have the phone, and have had to buy an S3 mini in the interim.
