I bought a Samsung S4 on contract with Vodacom in about August of this year. About 3 weeks ago it started giving me problems with the tracking pad, the battery not charging & the screen rotation. Sent it to Vodacom Bayside & from there it was sent to their "repairs head office" at Tyger Valley. A few days later I was told that I could collect my phone. They replaced the battery with a new one. (job number 9342907) I collected the phone, took it home & straight away it had the same fault of not charging. The next day I sent it back to Vodacom Bayside where they again sent it to their "repairs centre" at Tyger Valley. Yesterday (Wed 20 Nov 2013) I was sent an SMS saying that I could collect it. (job number 9375208) This time I asked the gentleman helping me at Vodacom Bayside to please test the phone before I go home with it. Again, as the last time, it was doing the exact same thing where the battery wasn't charging. I asked to speak to a customer relations manager at their Tyger Valley branch who did the repairs & they said that I must send the phone in again. I asked for a replacement phone, but they were unwilling to do so. This is unacceptable Vodacom. I really expected better.
