More than 2 months without a phone

I upgraded my Altech Autopage contract in February this year ans was very excited to get the Samsung S3, even though it meant that i took a more expensive contract package. All went well and i even convinced most of my family and friends to change over to Samsung. On 10 May my phone's battery went dead and I plugged the charger in. As soon as I plugged the charger in, the phone made a funny noise and the whole screen cracked. I immediately unplugged the charger and put the phone one side. The next day (Saturday 11 May) I took the phone to the Autopage branch where I upgraded my contract - Princess Crossing. I explained to them what happened and the gentleman told me that he heard about similar cases and that it would be better for me to take the phone directly to head office in Midrand.
On 15 May I took time off from work and took the phone in. Once again I explained what happened and they told me that the technical guys will investigate. I was also told that it will take 4 - 6 weeks. I asked for a loan phone and they said that they do not have any. Since then I made endless calls and even went there last week. To date = no phone & no feedback... Different stories all the time.
