I took my HP notebook in for repairs to the HP Authorised repair centre called Redington or EnsureIT in M5 Parkway. I received my quotation and made the payment on the 26thApril. After not receiving any feedback since my payment I called the Hewlett-Packard Instant Repair Team number on the quotation. They then gave me the direct numbers (0218368764 / 0218212228 / 0861826000). This was another nightmare as the numbers don't work or just ring. Eventually I got through to the 0861 number. Was told that the parts have not arrived, but the courier delivered in the morning and they would call me back. Today (8th May) after many attempts I got through, was told that the parts has not arrived and no ETA, but will transfer to the Cape Town office, which was unanswered and then cut off. Called back again, got new lady who gave similar story, but then said parts would arrive by Friday... Maybe. Was then reminded that the terms stated 10-15 working days for repairs. On the official HP document i have it says 5 working days!!! I suggest HP investigates as this place is a joke and will not recommend the Brand to any of my clients at this point in time after years of loyalty to HP.
