I bought an HP Dv6 around 2 years ago from IC. The machine overheats and after spending over R 1300.00 on trying to repair the machine at HP's service centre (Redington) the problem remains and Redington admit they can't fix it. They advise me to contact the exceptions centre, which I do only to be told that if the machine is out of guarantee they can do nothing about it, becuase that's what the sheet at the call centre tells the operator. The moral of the story is the lifespan of a HP PC is only 1 year. Despite spending R 15000.00 R 1350 being without a computer for 6 weeks, plus, petrol, etc I still don't have a unit that works and never will.
They should call their stores THE HP "BAD" EXPERIENCE STORE
