Charging me for a closed account

I had a credit card with African bank and paid it in full on 30/03/2013. I asked for account to be closed, I had to send numerous amounts of corresponding documents through to the bank which I did, I then had to go through all these questions, I phoned up on the 22nd of April to make sure the my account was closed and that I will not be charged on the 25th. I recieved a confirmation of closed account email. On the 25th of April I got charged for a closed account. I phoned up and spoke to Nhla Nhla the manager of the card division who asked me to send a statement and would have money reversed in 2-3 hours for me. I called up at 4pm to find out about the reversal of the payment and I fist had to hold for 15minutes before I could by Nhla Nhla he has not had feedback from the refunds department. I want MY MONEY money back please. Is this how customers that pay you get treated?
