I applied for a new account with FNB in February 2013. With the appplication of the new account I also applied for an overdraft facility. I signed the quote and send all the relevant documents to them that same day. With my first salary being paid into my new account I noticed that my overdraft facilty was not active yet. I phoned them to enquire about this, their response being that I needed two salary runs before it becomes active. It has now been two salary runs and it is still not active. I phoned them again toa sk what the hold-up is. They told me that they can see I applied for the facility but by now it has expired and I need to do the whole approval of the qoute etc over AND that I have to wait fo TWO salary runs AGAIN!!!

What utter rubbish... I have to wait 4 month for a standard service because your service is up to.

What a let down!
I feel like closing my account and moning to Nedbank!
