At the beginning of March I applied for my smart device as according to ALL adverts, I qualified. I was soon called and the matter processed and I was told I'd receive the device in 10 working days. That was 13th March, It is now the 11th April. I have called more times than I can count. I have been told new stories everytime I have called. First I needed 3 debit orders coming off my account, then they had to be for 3 months, then I was approved again and told 5 to 10 working days. Then I was asked again to switch all debit orders..um, we've covered this already!
Finally I was told my the third person that everything is sorted out and I will receive my device within 10 working days. That was 2 days ago. I was called today to be told that all the others were wrong, its a problem but they're working on it but now actually no, I don't have the min. required amount in my account (which has as yet never been a problem) so now I don't get my device.
I cannot believe the way I, the customer, have been treated, given the run around and so on. I was about to close my Absa account to finally move to FNB. I am definitely reconsidering that after all this!
