Standard Bank
Account overdrawn

On the 25th March I noticed that my cheque account is in a minus and that R2000 was missing from my account, debited by standard. I then went into the bank to query why this happened, I was told that on the 16th march R2000 was drawn out of my cheque account despite the fact that there was no money in my account and for that reason the R2000 was pulled back on the 25th. I was told by the consultant that there was problems with the ATM's on that day and if it was not me I need to log an investigation. I advised her that I was nowhere near the ATM in Canal Walk at the time of the withdrawal and request for it to be investigated. This was a week ago, I have heard nothing since. I am now sitting short changed because of this, in no way did I budget to be short R2000 this month! I WOULD NOT HAVE GONE TO DRAW MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT KNOWING THERE WAS NO FUNDS IN IT. I want this situation to be resolved as I feel that it is unfair that I have to sit and wait for feedback over a situation that I had no control over and neither was it my fault! Perhaps it would be better for me to take my banking elsewhere as i am extremely unhappy about this serv ice.
