I contacted the Home Loands division via telephone requesting a confirmation letter from them stating our home loan details and the banking account details being used for the monthly repayments, I was told that due to the fact that they are in a call centre sending a letter is impossible. I then went into Thibault Sq branch and they couldnt help me either, they contacted home loans and after 10 million questions including what i wanted the letter for I was promised that a letter of confirmation would be emailed to me. Firstly, i would not have requested a letter if is wasnt necessary, my reasons for the letter is relevant to Home Loans. Secondly, the letter up to today has never arrived, this TWO Months after my request. So basicly Home loans is just in the habbit or ignoring clients requests. A simple explanation as to why a letter was impossible would have sufficed and this isnt the only issue i have with Standard Bank either... SHOCKING SERVICE!!
