I contacted FNB on Monday the 18th of March 2013. I requested an urgent letter as I require the letter when I go to court this week, they said it would take 48 hours and it has now been 1 week and I still don't have the letter. I emphasized the urgency of this letter to the agent Thami Nkosi. I dont know how difficult it is to type a quick letter, put it on a letterhead and email it.
