Useless Service from Standard Bank Home Loans!

I registered my bond with my parents in 2012 and ensured that the bond was for a greater value than the property so i could take the balance of the funds out with ease. I went to Standard Bank in Westville with my parents & we completed all the forms to get the balance of our funds out of our bond and everything was sent to home loans - the process is meant to take 5 working days. This was done on the 21st June and Standard Bank have been useless! They are now asking for my Dad to get a letter from Home Affairs to validate his ID book with no explanation as to why since its the same ID book that was used when we applied for the bond with the Bank. Every time i phone to ask what the delay is or who can help, i am simply given a ref. Number and NO ONE EVER PHONES ME BACK. I even emailed Standard Bank to complain and yes, 4 days later no one has even acknowledged the email. Home affairs have confirmed that my Dad's ID is valid and will not do any letter for the bank without justification which Standard Bank simply cannot provide. Why has no one contacted us? Why do you need this when his ID book is the same as when the bond was granted and why the can no one help! DISGUSTED!!!
