I am considering switching banks, and therefore decided to take up a Credit card with Nedbank rather than my current bank in order to get a feel for their way of doing things. Application was made online a week ago today, and to this date only feedback received is more and more documents required. I have faxed everything and keep receiving feedback via SMS that its being processed. FAXED? In this day and age, we should be able to email this. This morning i took off work, and went into the branch for feedback, and was assisted by the manager. So after 7 days of waiting she tells me that there is no application on the system and they have none of my documentation? So firstly i have been faxing through all this personal information - and WHERE IS IT ENDING UP??? I have several SMS's and reference numbers and now get told that the application would need to be re-processed and I'll have to wait atleast 2 weeks to receive the card? The manager did not even offer to phone anyone to try and figure out what is going on? If this is how Nedbank treats possible new clients, I would hate to know how their existing customers are treated!
