Credit Card Application

Good Day

Normally I am not one to complain & I give credit to good service where is due, however I am currently failing to understand the delays regarding my application, below is the history regarding my complaint.

Earlier this year in February I applied for personal credit card via the Online FNB application.
After numerous calls & sms's stating that required information which I sent through & uploaded/faxed via the system I gave up for the time being.

I decided to handle the query directly at a branch, unfortunately due to my profession I had very little free time & only took up the application again on the 18th of April.

I was helped speedily at the branch, the consultant assisted me with all the queries. She informed me that FNB could not get hold of me at the time, a fact I could understand as Feb was a very busy month for me, I then explained that is why I chose to rather apply directly with her in the bank, with all my documentation at hand to avoid further delays. It has been two weeks since then & no feedback, Today I phoned the CC department and got a ref: RP13050221305 for escalation. I would like to know why all the delays? My fiance already has her ABSA cc card
