A gentleman attempted to call me an hour ago, when i called back he said that was a Nedbank employee and was checking if I had applied for a credit card. I responded and said I had not and asked him to cancel any and all applications. He suddenly hung up and when I called the official Nedbank credit card division, I was informed that the application was submitted today at the Alexandra branch. She also confirmed that I had provided telephonic confirmation that the application must continue, this is after I had said to him i do not want a credit card. Although the application was "cancelled" how can my profile can be used to apply for a credit card without proper documentation and if this is, why on earth did the agent who first call me log a note on Nedbank's system that I approved of the application? I have not received any confirmation that my account has not been hacked into or that everything with my account is safe. If this is how Nedbank deals with, then I am moving my business elsewhere. I AM REALLY NOT IMPRESSED with Nedbank
