I visited your branch on the 29th/01/2014 to do a debit order reversal due to my personal reasons, I got inside the bank at 15:10 but only got assisted 40 minutes later being number 7 on the line when I first joined the line... anyway what upsets me the most was that Johana mojela told me arrogantly that I will have to pay R30 cash for a reversal of which I didn't have a problem with, but when I asked her politely why must I pay because not so long ago in that same branch I came to do the same thing, but I was never asked to pay a R30 and never been asked in any ABSA branches to pay this amount, I've been having my account for more than 7 years and it's only the first time I hear that, the only thing they told me was that they going to charge me a certain amount from my account..tthen she told me she can't explain as to why the person who was helping me last time didn't ask for that R30, then she pulled out thick pages documents from her colleague next to her to show me that it is apparently a policy and been like that for years now.but still I didn't get explanation of why previously I was never asked to pay R30? And why there is no consistency? will i not get charged after paying R30???
