I bought an iron last year and a couple of weeks back it stopped working, I took it back to the store today and they said I can only exchange it for the same iron and nothing else and I will not be issued with another receipt. I opted for another model but same brand which was R100 more than the other one, but they told me that should the new iron give me problems I will not be allowed to return it again and I will have to purchase another one. They say both these irons are now covered under the same 12-month warranty and I can't be given an additional 12-month warranty on the new one. What kind of customer service is this? Is CPA aware of this?
