Dear ABSA Management
On Wednesday, 16th January I went to ABSA Southernwood looking for Proof of account letter. To my surprise I was told that I am supposed to pay R50. R50 is too much for a letter and Am not prepared to pay it. It is not the first time I went to look for such a letter at ABSA, but I was never asked to pay. I was told all the ABSA branches charges for that. In November, I went to get one from ABSA Vincent Park and I was never asked to pay a single cent. Why should I pay now? In fact last year I got two letters, one from Beacon Bay and the other from Vincent Park all for free. Not to say i don't wanna pay, but i wanted to pay for something that is done at all branches not only one branch. ABSA if you value your customers, please look into these and ensure that it is applied uniformly in all branches. Anyway am just a single poor customer complaining, you can ignore me... and I will use this as one of the excuses when I leave your bank.
