Shocking service

I was told to come in to the bank with my proof of employment and ID, I took a half a day off from work and went in and was told that my account cannot be re opened, I am gone 4 days now without recieving my salary and the best excuse ive got so far is that they "didnt know"about the new procedures. Now that the funds have been transferred into a closed acccount my employer has to wait for it to bounce back before another attempt resulting in further financial difficulties not to mention the stress it has put on my family and I. This is ridiculous. No help at all.
