At the end of June this year I left my previous employer where I had a pension and provident fund with Alexander Forbes. I was informed that my pension and provident funds would be transferred into my account soon after leaving. It has been almost 3 months and nothing has been done. I called the service centre who told me that i would need to get an information and instruction form from my previous employer before any funds could be paid. The previous employer told me that this form is not necessary and proof of my banking details was all that was required. I am left in the dark and am being told two different stories as to what is happening with my pension and provident funds. With my current situation i need these funds quite urgently and expected a little more professionalism from such a large financial institution. With my new employer i have a much better pension and provident package and hope this matter can be resolved.
