Ive opened a fnb platnum current account as i was told that being with fnb has far more benifits than my current bank. I went in on the 14th of august with my wife and the consultant who helped me said that they will move all my debit orders over and will let me know as soon as each denit order has moved over. The next day i called the branch to ask them if my employer should pay my salary into my new fnb account or still into my current bank account. The lady on the phone told me she'll have someone call me before lunch. The next day came and no phone call was received. They then sent me a email saying that i must fill in a form to have my debits moved over. I then phoned the number on the email to tell them i did that already in the bank and if i should do it again. I again then asked if my salary should be moved to my new account or not as i dont want my debits to bounce. AGAIN i was told that someone will call before lunch. Its now saturday and still, i havent received any call to tell me whats going on. My current bank is seeming far better then this. Fnb needs to jack up their people.
