Hi. First of all I would like to say I LOVE FNB. Great bank, great products - good value and so easy to deal with. My Premier Banker Petunia Maketekete is a freakin' rockstar.
Unfortunately I have to complain about something urgent. I went to Cresta branch on Sunday 19 January with a large cheque. I wanted to deposit it but the tellers were closed, because it is a Sunday which is understandable. One of the guys in the bank said I can deposit the cheque at the ATM. I replied and said that I need it cleared by Friday so I can cover all my debit orders. He said the cheque clearance will take 3-5 business days, so I'll be fine. Today is Friday and the cheque is not available and all my DOs WILL bounce tonight/tomorrow.
Can you help at all?
