First National Bank
Special Clearance - No SUCH THING

Per the FNB pricing guide "Special Clearance of a cheque
Typically, a deposited cheque will take 7 working days before it is cleared and you are able to use the money, however if you request a 'special clearance' at the time of making the deposit, then for a fee, the bank will speed-up the processing of the cheque, and clearance can be obtained in 2 working days.

Deposited a cheque on Saturday (02/02/13) and two working days is up and still no access to funds that was deposited via a SPECIAL CLEARANCE. WHAT IS TWO WORKING DAYS IN FNB's terms???

Premier Banker, Natasha Govender, does not knows how longs it takes and advised me to take up the matter with the branch. So exactly what is a use of a premier banking? She clearly never hear of her company's (FNB) tag line "How can we help you"?
