Double debit when was told not to!

December as we all get paid earlier, Nedbank never got there funds which was a fault of my own! However when I got a call from the call centre agent, Rodney, i advised him not to double debit as i will make a cash payment. He agreed to that but on the day of the debit i saw a difference in my account and he decided to load a double debit order, which left me shocked.. When i received a call from a different agent again and i asked her about it, she said that Rodney wrote in his notes that I (the client) agreed to a double debit, which number 1 was a big lie.. All calls are recorded, so i suggest they listen in to the call and check where i told him to double debit and he made his own stuff.. And also, my debit order date is scheduled for the 26th of each month, why do Nedbank debit on the 21st or when ever they want to and then i must pay for the bank charges for returned debit order! Something must be done to these banks that think they can do what ever they want and get away with it, and up to now i got no phone call or anything from anyone to apologise! I want to know whose going to be responsible for these bank charges??
