I have been with Miway since 2009 with no claims record, but today I am an unhappy client who has been trying to lodge a claim for the past 3 weeks. I have spoken to Ayanda from the call centre on the 04/12/13, again spoke to Ayanda on 10/12/13 as well as Memory on the 13/12/13. But till today I have not received a call or feedback from Miway. Every time I called I was advised the claims department is not available and they will send a request for the claims department to call me back but nothing until today.
My brother in law had the same problem when the time came to lodge a claim and I thought it was just one of those. My premiums have been increased with no notification, even after a tracker was installed in my car. The worse thing is that I have never missed my premium, always paid on time and now when its time to honour their part theyare no longer available.
It makes me so mad to know that I have been paying an insurance for the past 5 years and now I am driving around with a damaged car due to them not honouring their part of the agreement. I cant wait to cancel this policy and join Momentum as planned the sooner this ends for me the better for all of us.
