CLAIMS DEPARTMENT DYSFUNCTIONAL

I lodged my first cliam with MIWAY around the 13th November and since then, I have been unable to get joy from MIWAY with the authorisation for the panel beater. What is the point of apporving my claim if you are not going to issue the authorisation for the repairer. I have called over 10 times since last year and getting the same answer... my query will be taken to the claims department manager as urgent as the claims dept is experiencing high call volumes since last year. My car remains damaged but I have been paying my premiums diligently. The last time I called I was told by the customer care that I am not the only one complaining about this, Really MIWAY, should I be happy about not being the only one.

Previously I was insured by Outsurance, Santam, Virgin Money and I have never experienced this dismal service. There is nothing my way about MIWAY at all if I must resort to for service.
