EBucks, downgrade of reward levels

I am one of those people that say, I love my bank. When I speak to people, I tell them the same, suggest switching to FNB. It's a great bank, I have been banking with FNB for over 30 years, with very few complaints. In the past month, I have been a little disappointed with them. For the last few years, I have been qualifying for a 30% eBucks discount level. This was great, and I have been saving up some eBucks to purchase a large item from the eBucks store. I also received a call from an FNB represntative, suggesting that if I upgrade my account to a linked account.. that links my credit card to my cheque card, I will pay slightly more on my account, but I will qualify for more ebucks. On this basis, I upgraded my credit card to a higher level card. On my online banking profile, it also shows that I qualify for a 30% discount, as I always have. I recently went to the ebucks site to purchase something, and on the eBucks site, it shows I only qualify for a 10% discount. It really is not nice when you upgrade, pay more for something, and at the end of the day, get less back, without even telling you. I can't even purchase the item i was saving up for. Not a great bank after all!
