I dont think you people know what you're doing

I called into the homeloans call centre (0860 111 007) at 09h30 on 13 Aug to change the payment due date on my bond as it kept going into arrears every month. I didnt take the agent's name because I thought the reference number he gave me was enough (1216920). I was just informed by Camille at the same number that the change was never made and that my homeloan is now in arrears. She couldnt help and transferred me to another person who couldnt help either. All this was after a sales consultant told me that i did not have to apply for a re advance. She said all i had to do was go into a branch and I would be able to withdraw the funds on a flexi reserve facility - which i dont have. When i spoke to Camille her version of the story was that I would have to apply for a re-advance. Why does each and every consultanty have a different process? And why was my payment due date not changed. I am extremely OFF!! I have had enough of ABSA's impolite staff and inadequate service. It is shameful to admit that I once worked there!
