First National Bank
FNB and Vodacom messup

Last year in about October I received a call from FNB offering me a free cellphone. I accepted this cellphone and they delivered it along with a Vodacom simcard that was going to be loaded with free airtime according to the caller. To my surprise when I applied for an increase on my overdraft I was declined because of a 'low credit score'. This was a shock to me since I know that I handle my credit very well. I checked with Transunion and it showed that I had been handed over by Vodacom and when I tried to find out why I was told that it was because of a cellphone contract I had failed to pay for. When I asked these people including Fnb to show me proof that I had agreed to a contract they all just sent me from pillar to post and this is frustrating to me. If i had agreed to a contract then there should have been a form of agreement as to how i would pay and if this was so FNB should have easily been able to debit the money from my account. I want this issue resolved and my name removed from the Credit Bureau as this is an unfair and unlawful listing. FNB as the one who called me is responsible to protect my interests and give me satisfactory answers as to what really happened
