On television and various other types of media the public is advised that they are entitled to a FREE credit-worthy check once a year. On filling in all the details, including my landline telephone number, the application form refused my request on the grounds that I did not have a cell-phone. Do they expect me to go and purchase a cellphone on credit just to obtain a free credit check.
Rediculous.
