I am writing this compliant on behalf of my mother.
She says she was called by a Vodacom callcenter consultant who informed her she had won R15000.00 but in order to get this prize money she had to sign up for a cellphone contract which will give her R120.00 airtime every month.
After receiving her first statement I suspected something was wrong with this contract that didn't even give her a free cellphone but charged her R600.00
I called to find out the contract was a Weekender with free offpeak minutes which were not explained to her how they work but also which doesn't serve her calling needs.
She would like to cancel this contract because he was not given the R15000.00 prize money and secondly she doesn't understand that her calls are limited to offpeck free minutes.
