I had my vehicle financed by MFC, due to some financial constrains, I applied for Debt Counselling. I paid the amount prescribed by the Debt Counselling company Mzansi Debt Counselling. Suprisingly my vehicle was reposses meanwhile I was paying every month. I contacted the Debt Counselling for answers but they could only tell me that they having lots of customer complaint and I must wait indefinately. I contacted NCR, spoke to Zelda who also told me to wait as they have lots of complaints they dealing with or I must contact my lawyer. I contacted MFC only to be adviced that my DC application was terminated. Suprisingly I never recieved any notice of termination from the bank, whom I am a customer. I personally feel that none of the above-mentioned institution is taking this matter seriously while I am still paying monthly for an asset that I no longer have. MFC failed to adhere to Debt Counselling Regulation, to notify me as a customer of their decision to terminate my Debt Review contract and they cannot give me proof that they sent me the notice. This is bank service from a major bank in South Africa. Despite having engaged NCR, matter is not yet resolved.
