While having a loan with FinChoice, i had to do a debt counselling. After months of paying the debt cousellors and them to paying my debtors, i cancelled it. I contacted all my creditors, Finchoice included, to cancel the debt counselling thing and arrange payments.
I got assistance from my debtors and was given outstanding balances and made arrangements. When I called Finchoice to cancel the debt counselling, I was assisted by one of the consultants who then gave me my outstanding balance was R10000, and I subsequently made arrangements. I paid R2500 and was sent an sms that I still owed R7500, which I paid in full last year. All of a sudden now am listed ffor this amount. I called the contact centre to ask exactly how much I still owe them, the consultant told me I am still on debt counselling and she cannot give me the outstanding balance yet, but will give me around midday yesterday. I asked her if I could call back later in case she doesnt call as this was important for me, she said no she will call. She never called. My life is standing still now as what I wanted to do I couldnt because of this listing. All I need is my balance to pay, must i wait days for that really?
