I would like to log my complaint with regards to Smart Phone application I did Online and it was declined due to failed criteria. I then contacted 087 577 4000 and I was told the reason of my decline was due to my status of being a non SA resident and I was told to go to my branch for verification. I went to my branch (Eastrand Mall FNB) and the consultant verified that my Permit is valid and I must go to Dot FBN Eastgate to apply directly with them. When I got to Dot FNB Eastgate I was told by the consultant that I cannot apply now as they have a huge back log and they do not have stock for the phone I want (Samsung S4 Galaxy) such that they cannot make me apply or wait list me. I was advised to check with them end of June. The consultant accessed my profile and confirmed that I have enough points to qualify for the phone, I think he said I have about 33 points which is good since I am less than 70 points I think but still cannot assist to get the Samsung S4 Galaxy I need. I found this to be very unfair. I need someone to help me with this issue because being an FNB Check Account holder with a Valid Permit and Enough Points to qualify for a Samsung S4 smart phone.
