New Samsung Galaxy has faults

On June the 18 we purchased a Samsung Galaxy from the Samsung Store @ VodaWorld. The phone was working fine until about 6/7 days within purchasing it. Whenever i would take a picture the device would freeze then restart its self. I then went to the Samsung Smart center on the 7th day of the purchase, the Technical person there told me to return it to the shop I had bought it from and just tell them that I didn't get a chance to bring the phone in, as the 7 day exchange has lapsed. I then decided not to do that, but instead take it back to the smart center as they could 'fix' the phone. When I went there, they took about 3 hours to tell me that my phone cannot be fixed because the 'Memory/mother board' needs to be replaced. My question is, why would that mother board need to be replaced when the phone is not even a month old? They failed to answer me but told me I should take the phone and wait for the parts. It's been almost a week now and the phone is getting worse. I Don't know what to do anymore, because when I call they give me the same story... The parts haven't arrived. This really getting frustrating as I spent a lot of money on that phone.
