A couple of months ago I started noticing bank charges for transactions such as cheque deposits and airtime purchases via internet banking being charged to my cheque account. I am not supposed to be charged for such transactions as I am on a Platinum Package with ABSA! I then contacted "action line" last month which has not done anything till this day as I am still being charged for such transactions!! What does one do when not only are you as a client not receiving any service from your bank, but your bank is also charging you BOGUS bank charges that not even they themselves understand? Most people would say that I should probably move to another bank and forget about ABSA! This is absolutely unforgivable and sub standard, and ABSA needs to explain themselves! I have received poor service from a number of other banks, but nothing of this sort!!!
