Once again ABSA does not fail to mess up my account... without my permission and without even informing me.
What is wrong with ABSA?
I am getting sick and tired of ABSA messing with my account and not informing me.
I want someone to contact me ASAP.
My account is meant to be a student account. With a monthly charge of around R15... all of a sudden I decided to look at my statement and see that ABSA changed it to a normal cheque account, charged me charges, charged me internet banking charges and I am not on internet banking... ABSA has proof of me being a student... and they constantly do this... It is not enough that ABSA just reverses the charges and gets away with it. I want something in return... maybe you can lower my interest rate on my car finance as a way of apologising yet again... As the mistake was done 01/08/2013 consider this your last warning and if this is not sorted out accordingly then I will approach the ombudsman... How is it even possible that a bank employee has the right to change someone's account without their knowledge... imagine what some bank employees can do with accounts that do not get statements! I think the media need to hear this disgusting tactic!
