Around 3 months ago I've noticed that Absa has been charging my Student Silver Cheque account internet banking charges - which is supposed to be free for student accounts. I went to the branch when I noticed this, some higher-up person was notified of this problem by the consultant. I was supposed to have been phoned by Absa w.r.t. this matter, but they never came back to me. When I checked my latest account statement, I noticed that I'm still being charged a random amount for internet banking (ranging from R2.25 - R70) every month on the last day of the month. I'm strongly considering moving all of my accounts to another bank if I cannot have this issue sorted out ASAP, including being refunded for the erroneous charges.
