I went to collect my credit card today at the Centurion Mall branch. To be told that I can't get my card because my FICA has expired and therefore they need my proof of residence and or bank statement. To which I asked why wasn't this mentioned when I requested teh card which was last week. No straight answer was forthcoming. I then made it known that I have no issues with providing FICA documents, but what I find extremely annoying is that fact that when I made my request for the card this information was not brought to light. Following which I must then as a customer be inconvenienced after driving all the way to Centurion and the bank couldnt give a. Alicia was even quite glad for me to close my account and take my business elsewhere. Which is fine I will do this followed by bad word of mouth advertising for Nedbank. Don't think she has any idea what this means. Added to that where does this treatment fit in terms of the companies marketing message? Treating customers fairly?
