Delayed Baggage Policy

On a BA flight from JHB to Durban for a 4 day cruise on the MSC Sinfonia. What a shock when I got to DBN to realise that my luggage was left behind in JHB. At the counter they arranged that my luggage is put on the necy flight from JHB to Durban and then they will deliver my luggage to me on the boat before it leaves the harbour at 15h00. At 13h30 I received a call with Sorry Mrs. Strey the plane was delayed and you're luggage won't reach you in time. So on a cruise I went for 4 days with NOTHING. After a fight they agreed to pay me the R2500 as per their policy which would be fine if i remained in RSA where there is shopping centres, but on the boat everything is in $ and only 1 clothing shop. Nothing canbe done now it's done I lost my faith in British Airways, but you need to know how I was inconvenienced and embarresed. I had to loan clothes from people who was kind enough to do so, wash mu underwear I had on the day I departed every night to ensure I have clean underwear. The boat trip and the air tickets cost me a fortune and I was supposed to enjoy every second of the cruise, but thanks to British Airways you have taken this pleasure from me and will never use BA again!!!
