I have received an email from Kulula indicating that if I transport my bike to Argus I will have to pay an additional R300 handling fee per bike. When I phoned Kulula yesterday and queried this, Bronwyn stated that Kulula only received this notice additional payment in February 2013 and that we always paid previously. She had to apologise as her facts was wrong and when I stated this was very short notice, she said they can't do anything about this and that I must send my complaint to [Email Removed]
This is not fair towards any of the Argus cyclists as we have booked out tickets through Kulula due to this benefit. Kulula could have sent out a notice well in advance notifying travellers of the change or notified travellers that from 2014 there will be additional charges for bikes... I mean a month before the time is just ridiculous.
What I don't understand, we are allowed 20kg of luggage, if my luggage and my bike is less than 20kg, why do I have to pay more?
