I booked a flight to Capetown with [URL Removed] in September 2012 for the Argus bike race on 10 March 2013. I did it well in advance to ensure a flight as well as accommodation. I paid as per the instructions on the website and I also paid an additional amount of R245 for extra luggage been my bicycle as per the website. They even gave me instructions on how to package the bike.
Now i receive an email in which Kulula states that I must pay an additional R300 x2 (return) for the bike and the R245 will be refunded. But last year their website stated a different procedure. They cannot now after I paid, change the rules (and the website) to suite them.
This is like saying sorry the amount you paid is not enough we changed the rules pay another additional amount.
I paid as per their website, in good faith, and they accepted my money. What right do they have to now change the rules and procudures.
This is contrary to the new Consumers Protection Act.
I want Kulula to honour the deal I had with them.
