Hello, I used the Slow Lounge on the 27th November 2012. I have a Platinum cheque card as well as a Platinum credit card. I was under the impression that I had 4 off peak visits or 2 peak visits per month. I was not aware of the fact that this is card sensitive. If I had swiped my credit card I wouldn't have been charged but because I had used my cheque card apparently one has to spend R5000 before you qualify to use the lounge. I feel completely cheated by the Slow Lounge. They didn't not take into account my overall account standing and have charged me R500 for the visit (R250 each). First time I have taken a guest, and I don't use the lounge very often, probably about 4 x per year. I think it's appaling that they didn't advise me when swiping my card. I would like this charge reversed based on my overall account standing.
