First National Bank
"SLOW-LOUNGE" TURN "RIP-OFF-LOUNGE"

On the 17th of March I accessed the Slow-Lounge, to find that the R500 debited off my account had not been returned. I had accessed the lounge with my partner, during off peak times. The consultant I contacted informed me that FNB had moved the goal posts with regards to their slow lounge access policies which are now based on R5000.00 card swipes the previous month. I use the Slow-Lounge regularly and this has never been a problem. How am I suppose to know how much I swiped the previous month? None the less, where I reside too many card related have occured due to swiping. This means I am now unsafe with my money and FNB. Had I known I would not have gone into the lounge for a R500 bill, for just coffee and cake.
I was also told that it was that it was my fault for not knowing this as this had been communicated in July in the annual price increase announcement. Between the spam special offers and communications I receive this was was no different - an expensive chair costing me R500 to sit in! There needs to be communication at the Slow-Lounge about this!
Lot of disappointment from the bank recently, and now this? I have been with the bank for 8 and a half years, am DONE!!
