Overcharged and extremely bad attitude and threats

My dad is an unemployed person and took a contract with vodacom in 2011. He hasnt paid for 3mths due to his unemployment but is willing to make arrangements and make payments, The contract amount was R199 per month. Suddenly after he couldnt make payments for 3 mths only he was handed over to an attorney Burnard Raaff & Associates, and charged an amount of R3074.75, Where does this amount come from??? If the contract was R199 per month and he never used the card ever!! My mom who is ill was called on her cell and threaten she was told that the police would come to lock them up and that they will be garnished etc. This extremely rude women Oliver - 011 0239160, keeps calling my mom regardless of my mom saying that the she should call my dad and has given my dads number on numerous occassions so that arrangement can be made. This women has no people skills whatsoever and should be removed. I will lodge a compliant even with the ombudsman about being robbed and charged amounts that she has told us which doesnt make sense. We are customers of vodacom for many many years and have done many contracts with them, this was a bad patch my dad was going thru and to be treated in this manner?
