I have recently (09 April 2013) renewed my MTN 350 contract with the MTN branch in Brooklyn. 7 Days later MTN offers the same contract with 200MB more data per month more sms per month and free MTN to MTN minutes.
The new contract is also cheaper. I understand that I can't change the monthly price, but have tried to get the same benefits as for the new deal.
I called MTN customer care & they advised that I have 10 days to change the contract. I drove 40 kilometers back to the store where I did the renewal, only to be told that I can't change my contract. I have even offered to go to the MTN 500 package but the store manager insisted that I can't change.
I am a loyal MTN customer for more than 10 years & this is the fist time I feel that MTN won't help me.
I feel it is unfair to make such a big contract difference and won't help a customer who missed the deal with 7 days.
