Last night I received a sms welcoming me to Vodacom (been a loyal customer for years with two contacts) & that I have successfully migrated from a Business contract to a Smart S. Startled, I called Vodacom &the lady didnt know anything & put me on hold for 13 minutes. I pay R380 pm for cheaper calls/ sms which I don't use but I get 200mb night owl &250mb data which works for me. I was then told she cannot see that I ever got Data free &I now will get no night owl, will get only 200mb and 200sms. In this age we use bbm/whatsapp what must I do with 200sms. She apologized that no one called me to tell me business contracts are discontinued. I asked for a supervisor who was friendly but not helpful. He offered me a similar plan for R100 more per month or just data at R69pm for a migration fee of R1200.Has vodacom absolutely lost it all? You cannot change my contract mid year and offer lesser benefits according to the consumer protection act. Weekender has been discontinued yet my contact on it remains so why migrate this contract after a year. Unacceptable. Supervisor said that he would escalate it to back office and I would get a ref of the call via sms-till today it never came. Unacceptable.
